Three products that round out the skincare range, with the label details that decide between them.
Vitamin Glow Serum — $24.90, 1 fl oz
The best all-rounder of the three, and arguably the most sensible serum we sell for someone who wants one product rather than four.
It combines, in one bottle:
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3) — tone and barrier
- 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C) — a stable vitamin C derivative
- Panthenol (provitamin B5) — hydration and comfort
- Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) — antioxidant
- Linoleic acid and phospholipids — skin-barrier lipids
The stable vitamin C is the clever bit. Unlike the pure L-ascorbic acid in our Vitamin C Serum, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid does not oxidise and turn brown. No fridge, no two-month clock, no watching the colour. If the maintenance of a traditional vitamin C serum put you off, this is the answer.
Fragrance-free, vegan, cruelty-free, paraben- and sulfate-free.
Overlap note: if you already use our 10% Niacinamide Serum and Vitamin C Serum separately, this does both jobs in one bottle at a lower strength. Buying all three is redundant.
Apply 3–4 drops to face and neck after cleansing. Shake well first.
Skin Firming Cream (LiftLuma) — $38.99, 2 oz
Contains almond oil — a tree nut. Our label declares it clearly, which is how it should be done. If you have a tree nut allergy, this is not for you.
Eleven ingredients: purified water, DMAE, hyaluronic acid, CoQ10, aloe vera extract, vitamin E oil, avocado oil, Rheosol, almond oil, Phenonip, rosemary extract.
DMAE is the "firming" ingredient. It also appears in our Brain & Focus Formula — the same compound used two very different ways.
What it does not do, and our own page says so: "it does not lift facial structures or permanently change skin." Topical "firming" is an appearance effect — hydrated skin looks plumper and smoother. Nothing in a jar lifts a jawline. We would rather set that expectation than take $38.99 and disappoint you.
Apply once or twice daily to face, neck, jawline or lip area. Avoid the eyes.
LiftLuma Skin Hydration Cream — $26.90, 2 oz
Seven ingredients: Distilled Water, Avocado Oil, Rheosol AVC, Phenonip, Vitamin E Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Cucumber Fragrance Oil.
A correction on our own badge
This product carries a "fragrance-free" badge, and the ingredient list ends with Cucumber Fragrance Oil.
Those two things cannot both be right, and the ingredient list wins. This product contains fragrance. We have flagged the badge internally to be corrected, and in the meantime: if you need a genuinely fragrance-free moisturiser, this is not it.
Fragrance-free alternatives in our range, by their ingredient lists rather than their badges: SheaWell Raw Shea Butter (one ingredient, no fragrance) and the Vitamin Glow Serum.
We would rather tell you our own label is wrong than let someone with reactive skin find out the hard way.
Otherwise
A simple, light hyaluronic acid and avocado oil cream, vegan, at a reasonable price. Our directions recommend following with broad-spectrum SPF 30 when outside — good advice regardless of which moisturiser you use.
