This page outlines the policies for Photography by Chess. By booking a session, you agree to the terms below.
Service Area: Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas
Turnaround Time: 3–7 business days (standard sessions)
RAW Files: Not provided
1. Booking & Deposits
- 30% deposit required to secure your date.
- Date is not reserved until deposit is received.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
2. Payment
- Remaining balance due 24 hours before session.
- Accepted payments: Shopify checkout, invoice, or approved digital payment.
- $25 travel fee for locations beyond 25 miles from Atlanta Beltline.
3. Session Time
- Session begins at scheduled start time.
- Late arrival does not extend session unless availability allows.
- Overtime rate: $75 per hour.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- 48-hour notice required to reschedule.
- One reschedule allowed within 30 days.
- No-shows forfeit deposit.
5. Editing & Delivery
- Includes color correction, exposure adjustment, light retouching.
- Does not include body reshaping or heavy Photoshop manipulation.
- Images delivered digitally.
6. Image Selection
- Photographer selects best images for delivery.
- Unedited or rejected images are not provided.
7. Creative Control
Photography is an artistic service. By booking, you agree to trust the Photographer’s style and editing approach.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Arrive on time.
- Secure venue permissions.
- Communicate dress codes and event rules in advance.
9. Copyright & Usage
- All images remain property of Photography by Chess.
- Clients may post and print images for personal use.
- Commercial use requires written permission.
10. Liability
Photographer is not responsible for injuries, venue restrictions, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond control.
11. Agreement
By booking Photography by Chess, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
